Feel that you're slowly falling out of the loop in regards to your knowledge of Abe Vigoda's current status? Well, worry no more.

Not good enough, you say? Well, then this firefox plugin may be just what you're looking for.

The End of the World

Check a couple more things off my big Mount Athos to-do list - An RSS/Atom feed and flickr integration. The feed ensures I'm now only about three years behind the times here, while flickr means that I no longer waste precious server space with my less-than-precious images.

To celebrate, here's a picture of a tornado that touched down pretty much just outside our front door last year. Pretty cool, eh?

A couple words of warning, though:
A) I don't carry around my camera with me so don't expect a whole lot of photo action.
B) I'm not so thrilled with the Yahoo Flickr acquisition (I signed up for the account a few days before it happened) so, depending on how things pan out, this component may disappear as quickly as it appeared

Surprise! Just to prove that this blog is not on it's last legs, I've decided to give it a bit of a facelift. One barebones blogger template, a few CSS tweaks, some fumbling around with The GIMP, and voila! Now, these changes are purely cosmetic; I'm still not titling posts (I have trouble being creative enough as is) or allowing comments (I prefer to be the one and only source of information in this little corner of the web). Does any of this mean I'm going to resume posting more often? Probably not, but at least I have valid HTML now.

If you're wondering about the new quote, it's from John Chrysostom, better reflecting the theme of this blog. And don't worry, this does not indicate a greater (or lesser) theological bent around here - I will continue to focus my attention on monkeys, hats, and in extreme cases, monkeys with hats. On a related note, I desperately want to install a random Simpsons quote generator here but I haven't been able to find a good one on the web, so I may end up just writing something eventually. "Eventually" meaning a few years from now.
